We offer both:
We review principles and fundamentals and your chess game is evaluated, highlighting your strengths and weaknesses and showing us what we need to work on.
You will receive a lesson feedback (an email) on your chess game and areas that need work.
After many years of teaching, we’ve developed individual chess lessons and lesson plans that cover chess principles and fundamentals that have proven to be effective.
Our after-school chess programs are popular with kids; they are happy and have a good time. The students learn to focus. They improve their chess skills, and parents are always telling us how much their children are improving. Chess Earth offers students and families a way to continue their chess journey by connecting them to the Cincinnati Chess Community. Children can join the local chess community, and participate in one of Chess Earth’s chess tournaments.
Robert is an experienced chess instructor who is good with principals, teachers, and parents, and he is also good with kids. He teaches chess to kids at the Wyoming Library on Mondays 5:30pm every week. He was a substitute teacher for three years in middle school and learned how to communicate with school administration and students. Our after-school chess clubs are the perfect way to end the school day routine!
Here are some of the schools where we have taught chess programs in the past: Seven Hills School, Summit Country Day School, Hyde Park Elementary School, and Cardinal Pacelli School.
Robert is a chess teacher and instructor who teaches chess to kids at the Wyoming Library every week. He plays with the older players at Chess Earth’s Chess Breakfast on Friday mornings at Panera Bread Winton Rd. He’s been teaching chess for a long time and is effective. He has a wide range of students, ranging in age from 7 to 87 years old. He’s good at teaching tournament players who are active, where the lessons take hold. He is a FIDE-rated expert and an active tournament player, and known for helping others enjoy the game.
We offer both online and In-person lessons for the same price:
$100 For One Lesson – The lessons last from 1.5 hours to 2 hours (and sometimes more).
$50 per Lesson/Taking Several Lessons (most popular) – Mostly everyone chooses this option and takes several lessons.
We arrange a convenient location for you; Panera Bread is a good option and Cincy Library Branches have private rooms, that I use all the time.
Ask about Group Lessons – This is great for 3-4 students, they learn as a group and the cost is reduced. The magic of group learning takes hold.
