The Kid’s Chess Club
In 2013, Robert took over a thriving chess program at the Symmes Library, which had originated in January 2006, and introduced the Kids’ Chess Club brand there before he moved to California. When Robert returned from California, he launched the Kids’ Chess Club at the Wyoming Library. At the Wyoming Library, we saw great attendance, with 30 to 50 participants on Monday nights. He ran this club for several years. It’s a community event designed for parents and their children, and it actively involves moms, dads, and grandparents.
