Chess Earth Rapid Tournament

First Game at 11:00am. G/15 +5 increment. 6-Rounds. USCF Rated Tournament.
Tournament Address: The Carnegie Center. 3738 Eastern Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45226.
Entry Fee: $25.00. Pay at the site (walk-ins are welcome) or pay online; scroll down, fill out the registration form, and register online.
Registration Ends at 10:45am. We accept Credit Cards, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle, CashApp and Apple Cash….at the tournament site.
1st Place Wins a FREE Entry into the Cincinnati Open on April 10-12, 2026, plus the prize money.
2nd Place Wins a FREE Entry into the monthly Tornado (plus drinks and meals), Cincinnati Tornado, plus the prize money.
3rd Place Wins a FREE Digital Chess Clock plus the prize money.
There might be other prizes….it depends on how many players that register.
Format: One Open Section. 6-Round Swiss. Play 6 Games. 11am is the first round. USCF Membership required.
Time Control: G/15 +5 increment.
Breaks: We take a break after the 2nd round and another break after the 4th round.
Good Food (pizza) and refreshments are served and sold.
Chess Merch and chess equipment and chess swag for sale.
Blitz Tournament at the end of the rapid tournament, if the interest is there. And feelings are not too hurt.
