We review the principles and fundamentals of how chess is played. For instance, what should you be doing during each phase of the game; Opening, Middlegame, and Endgame? Or when to trade pieces. We play chess and I evaluate your chess game. Typically, we look at your online games or USCF tournament games. We also do Drills and Exercises.
You will receive a lesson summary (an email) on the lesson and your chess game.
We have developed chess lessons that are practical. We highlight important chess principles and fundamentals that have proven to be effective.
Our after-school chess programs are popular with kids; they are happy and have a good time. The students learn to focus. They improve their chess skills, and parents are always telling us how much their children are improving. Chess Earth offers students and families a way to continue their chess journey by connecting them to the Cincinnati Chess Community. Children can join the local chess community, and participate in one of Chess Earth’s chess tournaments.
Robert is an experienced chess instructor who is good with principals, teachers, and parents, and he is also good with kids. He taught chess to kids at the Wyoming Library on Mondays for many years. Kid’s Chess Club. He was a substitute teacher for three years in middle school and learned how to communicate with school administration and students. Our after-school chess clubs are the perfect way to end the school day routine!

Robert is a chess teacher and instructor who teaches chess to kids at the Wyoming Library every week. He organizes and runs the Kid’s Chess Club. He organizes Chess Earth’s Chess Breakfast and plays with the older players every Friday morning at Panera Bread 8420 Winton Rd. He’s been teaching chess for a long time and is effective. He has a wide range of students, ranging in age from 7 to 87 years old. He’s good at teaching tournament players who are active, where the lessons take hold. He is a FIDE-rated expert and an active tournament player, and known for helping others enjoy the game.
